The aims of the Association are essentially two: to bring together young researchers linked to Philology and studies (in the broadest sense) to allow a first approach to the field of intellectual exploration and defend, promote and disseminate interdisciplinary research, promoting collaboration and participation in projects, meetings and exchanges with associations or similar philological and organizing conferences, seminars or scientific meetings in collaboration with public and private institutions and similar bodies at local, regional, national and foreign, to promote the dissemination and publication of philological studies and facilitate contacts and collaboration of our researchers with other researchers countries in specific areas study.
To fulfill these goals will undertake the following activities: congresses, preferably, one year, the first having been set for October 2007 - workshops, seminars and scientific meetings, publication of books, magazines, brochures and other materials in paper or electronic form, related to the aims of the Association. The written articles will always be presented in English, while the language of presentations at conferences that are made will depend on the Scientific Committee will evaluate the relevance and adequacy of potential conferences in other languages.
The affix-UCM has intended to carry out regular and special meetings to assess, discuss and adopt the ideas, proposals and decisions that the natural development of the Association and the individual initiatives of partners emerging over time
The Association deals both researchers the philological field as other related disciplines (philosophers, historians, geographers, artists, illustrators, translators, interpreters, journalists, librarianship, etc..), from every culture and nation, either as students of a diploma or degree, and as Member of Doctoral or Master's studies, all linked to any public university or private, in any area.
Within the Association there are four classes of members: first, the Founding Partners, who participated in the act of incorporation of the Association, Corporate members, who admitted after the establishment of the Association Honorary Members, which for prestige or for having contributed so important to the dignity and development of the Association, have earned such distinction, and, finally, Associate members.
hope that the love of languages \u200b\u200band literatures, as well as related disciplines that make up the whole man in all essence, allow the Association to reach all the objectives proposed, equally enriching individuals as members researchers and the overall set of human society.
